Description

Nestled in the heart of St. Thomas, the Paul Bogle Vocational Training Institute (PBVTI) stands as a testament to the power of education and skill development. Named after the iconic Jamaican hero, this institution is more than just a school; it’s a catalyst for transformation, empowering individuals and uplifting communities.

The PBVTI offers a diverse range of vocational programs designed to equip students with the practical skills they need to succeed in today’s competitive job market. From culinary arts and hospitality to construction and information technology, the institute caters to a variety of interests and aspirations.

Beyond technical training, the PBVTI fosters a holistic approach to education, emphasizing personal development and community engagement. Students have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities, workshops, and community service initiatives, fostering a sense of belonging and responsibility.

Due to the many storms that through the island this year we are left with the effects of the downpour of heavy rains and wind – which includes severe land erosion (with one of our structure about to go over a cliff), a downed light pole which provides necessary lighting, fallen trees and debris, broken fencing, flooding, roof leakages and theft due to destruction of property caused by a natural disaster.
